Q. Can I add a name to a piece that has already been fired?
A. Unfortunately not because we cannot paint on top of glaze with ceramic paint.

Q. Can I change the color options or do I have to use options given?
A. The color options given are the most popular combinations. 
Sure you can request a different color and we will accommodate you if possible.

Q. Does a ribbon come with the piece if ribbon holes are requested?
A. Yes, a coordinating ribbon will adorn your piece of art for no additional charge

Q. Do I have to use a caption from the captions list?
A. Absolutely not!  Feel free to come up with your own caption.  Just enter it into the field provided.

Q. Is there a limit to how many children’s names can be put on a piece?
A. Yes, if not stated on order form, please contact artist if you have a long list of names.

Q. Is this pottery food safe?
A. Yes.  Every piece is fired to 1800 degrees and is dishwasher, microwave, oven and food safe.  Most of our pieces are fully functional, as well as decorative.  However, like any piece of ceramic pottery, it can chip if not handled with care.

Q. Will my piece look exactly like the picture?
A. Every piece is a custom, hand painted piece of art.  There will be slight variations because every piece is unique and one-of-a-kind.  If a different ceramic piece is chosen than what the design is shown on, the design will be slightly changed to fit the piece.

Q. Will the paint fade over time or with use?
A. No, all of our products are made of the highest quality materials available.  These treasures will last a lifetime and longer.

Q. How long will it take to receive my order?                  

A. Our turn around time is usually 6-8 weeks.  However, if you have a specific deadline, just email our customer service and we will let you know if it's possible to meet your deadline.
